    • We report the median time in hours for two key stages: The initial response to the request and the “Substantive Response.”
    • The latter is significantly longer because we follow a thorough process to ensure all legal requirements are met before disclosing user information, which often involves back-and-forth communication with the reporting government.
    • Consequently, these requests are only marked as complete once the entire process is finalized, which can substantially extend the median response time.

Poland

  • A law enforcement agency in Poland submitted an information request targeting a WordPress.com user, citing potential fraud. No valid legal process was provided and the request was later withdrawn.

India

  • An Indian law enforcement agency requested detailed user information related to a WordPress.com site. The complainant alleged that the sites content was offensive. No valid legal process was provided.
